Something a bit different added to the website today. A mixed media mosaic - Butterflies on Stone Mosaic Garden Hanging Decoration. The butterflies have been hand painted onto the stones. I've used layers of paint to create the effect I wanted and they have a metallic sheen finish to them. The paint has then been fixed to make it weatherproof. The pebbles are set into a mosaic made on a hand cut base. the mosaic has shades of turqouise, deep blue and sea green tiles, and is finished with a grey grout. The back of the ornament has been painted sky blue and there is a wire hanger to hang it from. It would look great in the garden. But it would also look great in the home. And as all the materials are weatherproof you could easily use it in a bathroom.
