Due to my little business growing very nicely (and thank you to everyone that's ordered from me in the past, I hope you and your garden wildlife are enjoying your purchase) I don't seem to have the time to keep this blog up to date as well as my social media sites anymore. So, to make sure I have a bit more time, and you get a steady stream of new designs to browse, I'm going to have to stop updating the blog here.

Plus you can see what wildlife is being attracted to my garden with my own bird baths. Or I am on Instagram too, but not as often (need another couple of hours in a day, at least!)

And, relax. Just for a few days over Christmas, anyway. It's been really busy this year, which has been great. And I've got loads of ideas for new designs to make in the new year, which is great too. I should think some of the old favourites will appear though, like the Summer Meadow, and the bees. And if you think your garden birds deserve a des res to set up home in the spring, then keep an eye out. Best way to see what's new is to follow me on Facebook where I share things as they come together, so you get a sneak peak before they're added to the shop. So, that's Christmas 2015 at JoSara done and dusted. The other mosaic design, Heather Tartan, uses purples, greens, and sky and grey blues which remind me of heather moorland. 

So two bird baths using the same method to make, but the different colours and pattern give them totally different looks. Both bird baths are great for adding colour to the garden, and both can be used by your garden birds to bathe, and also as water dishes by the birds and other wildlife, including hedgehogs. They make great gifts for wildlife and garden lovers too.

A customer asked me to make her a bird bath in the Canal Folk Rose design, but changing the rose colours to red and pinks. It completely changed the feel of the design and I decided to expand on it and came up with this Old English Rose design. It's got the cottage garden feel, but it's quite contemporary in feel as well as these types of blousy blooms are on trend at the moment too.

Bee Mini Hanging Mosaic Hearts - great for hanging in a bee border, or just as decoration on a shed, fence, or in the home.

Rainbow Hedgehog Mosaic Garden Bird Bath - a new addition to the hedgehog bird bath colour range.

Canal Folk Roses, and Daisy Bee garden mosaic ball decorations. Great for adding colour into a container, or garden border.

The Pool Mosaic Garden Bird Bath - a fun design of a mini swimming pool complete with edging tiles for the birds to splash around in.

These mosaic plant pots were designed for use with succulent or cactus plants, so the mosaic design needed to have a feel of desert, ancient culture, dryness, and age, but I wanted it to feel modern too to fit into home decor. I think the end design has worked well. The pots have a feel of Morocco, Aztec, Roman and the Moors from ancient Mediterranean, but they have a touch of modern too with their iridescent and translucent tiles adding interest and shine. The design is called Modern Moorish and they would look great as part of a pot display on a Mediterranean style patio, or in a Moroccan feel courtyard. They would also look great on their own as a stand alone display on a shelf in the home.
